Out of the Powertainer project came the realization that if we simplified the concept by removing the engine and gas filtration systems, we were left with a highly advanced biochar production machine. Unfortunately the first Powertainer proved to have some architectural limitations so I set out to completely rethink our technology from the foundation of the gasifier all the way to the flare combustor. I took on many roles in this project ranging from high level project owner, chief engineer, project manager, testing engineer, human resources and occasionally rolled up my sleeves to shovel fuel or fabricate some modifications. So far I have built two functioning prototypes of this concept, the launch of this product is pending some funding.
